CIMARA POS is part of the CIMARA retail platform for travel, tourism, and destination businesses, by Frontier Retail, Inc. CIMARA POS is one solution for the counter and for mobile. It runs on most Android and Windows devices, including the devices we supply, so staff can sell at the dock, the trailhead, the rental counter, the barn, or the event lawn. It is included with CIMARA Core. Card payments run through Fiserv, including chip and tap, and receipts print or send from the device. CIMARA POS keeps selling offline, and the license has a 30-day offline grace period.

Yes. The named rental, the merchandise, and the food are lines on one checkout. The guest pays once, and the visit closes as one sale. CIMARA Core can sell that mix at one package price. CIMARA POS is part of CIMARA Core.
Does CIMARA POS run on phones, tablets, and Windows devices?
It runs on most Android and Windows devices. Staff sell at the dock, the trailhead, the rental counter, the barn, or the event lawn. Apple support is coming soon. CIMARA SCO is not offered on Apple. The Android app comes set up on the devices we supply.
Is CIMARA POS included with CIMARA Core?
Yes. CIMARA POS, for the counter and for mobile, is part of CIMARA Core. It is not a separate product and it is not a separate price.
Can I see which kayaks or carts are out?
The occupancy timeline shows named units and the time each one is out. You see which kayak or cart is out, and when it comes back. The unit is a named resource, not a SKU quantity.
Does it handle walk-ups and reservations?
Both. A walk-up picks the named unit, sets the window, scans the ID, and adds it to the checkout. Reservations use that same checkout.
What kinds of rentals can I configure?
Configure the resource. Recreational equipment includes kayak, jet ski, snowmobile, Segway, e-bike, bike, boat, and paddleboard. Tours and shows are a departure, a session, or a show time. Sites are a campground site, a stall, or a piece of equipment held by name and date. A golf car rental also carries license scanning, insurance details, the rental contract, and the deposit. Jet ski, ATV, e-bike, ski, and snowboard rentals keep a detailed digital waiver.
